This show was a part of Unraveled Tours 2015.
Unraveled unleashes it’s inaugural tour to benefit independent musicians and visual artists across the US.
Unraveled is a storytelling platform for independent musicians and designers, performance artists and writers, video and sound mavens and installation artists. The Unraveled Artist Community now includes 80 bands from 8 countries and 30 visual artists as well as numerous volunteers and production assistants… and 3 interns.
This Spring we’re taking the Unraveled experience on the road. Our goal is make touring hassle free for independent musicians so they can focus on what they do best – making good music and playing killer shows. Unraveled has set up a system where local bands will be opening for touring bands in each city in an effort to introduce new music and at the same time promote the local scene. These live music shows will be accompanied by Unraveled interactive art installations and merchandise pop-up booths for your viewing and purchasing pleasure.
BETEP is a new arts and letters zine curated by Luka Fisher. Issue one was limited to 138 copies with 25 printers proofs. Each cover was had done by a different artist.

Evcil Film Festivali, Moving Image Lab adlı daha geniş çaplı ve halen devam etmekte olan bir projenin bir parçasıdır. MIL, film izleme ortamlarını geliştirme amacıyla çok çeşitli deneysel etkinlikler araştırmakta ve yaratmaktadır. MIL ilk kez Boston, ABD’de 2010 yılının Mart ayında SPACE tarafından hayata geçirilmiştir. Uluslararası bir sanat işbirliği olan SPACE, bir arada var olma görüşü üzerinde odaklanan interaktif multimedya sanat eserlerini kullanarak insanları bir araya getirmek için çok çeşitli çalışmalara imza atmaktadır.
The Domesticated Film Festival is part of a larger, ongoing project called the Moving Image Lab which investigates and creates experimental events which seek to improve film viewing atmospheres. The Moving Image Lab was started in Boston, USA in March 2010 by SPACE, an international communication art collaborative interested in bringing people together using interactive multimedia artwork centered on the notion of coexistence.
Film izleme alışkanlıklarına, film ve seyirci ilişkilerine meydan okuyan ve bu yönde deneysel çalışmalar yapmaya devam eden SPACE, Moving Image Lab ekibi, Boston, Massachusets’teki faaliyetlerini önümüzdeki kış İstanbul’a taşıyor ve Evcil Film Festivali’nin birincisini Cihangir’de başlatıyor.
Challenging the film viewing habits, and the film-audience relation, SPACE, Moving Image Lab continues its experimental events, and now, after their Boston chapter, they are launching The Domesticated Film Festival in Istanbul’s Cihangir neighborhood this coming winter.
İki gün sürecek olan festivalde Cihangir mahallesi sakinleri, evlerinin apartmanlarının kapısını tanımadıkları ve tanışmaktan memnuniyet duyacakları filmseverelere açacaklar ve yetenekli Türk ve yabancı yönetmenlerin İstanbul konulu kısa filmlerini birlikte izleyecekler. Filmlerin sonunda bir MIL, Space temsilcisi ile birlikte tatlı ve umuyoruz ki hararetli bir film sohbetine dalacaklar.
In this two-day festival, the residents of Cihangir will be opening their doors to people they don’t know but those that they would pleased to know, and together they will be watching short films about Istanbul from many talented directors. At the end of the screenings, they will merge into a sweet and glowing discussions on these films, under the supervision of an MIL, SPACE representative.
Film ve seyircisi ilişkisinin yanında, seyircilerin film izleme deneyimi sırasında ve sonrasında birbirleriyle ilişkileri üzerinde de duran proje, bir film festivali olmanın ötesinde bir birliktelik hedefliyor.
The project emphasizes on the audience’s relationship among each other during and after the film viewing experience, as well as the film-audience relationship, and because of that it aims at a togetherness that is beyond just being a film festival.
[ME&I] BY THE PUBLIC ANONYMOUS AT ROYAL/T:

[ME&I] was the first installation of The Public Anonymous, an interactive project powered by SPACE, a communication art research collaborative. Customized for the VIP Lounge at Royal/T, a room built entirely of two way mirrors, this installation investigated spaces between the public and private expression of identity.
Two clear boxes provided visitors a way to answer the question, “Who are you and how do you project your identity to society?” The Public Anonymous observed their instinct to object and/or participate. This public engagement became a catalyst for further conversation and the results were visualized. Unedited. Transparent. Tangible.

[ME&I] encouraged participants to submit text through custom built and reprogrammed receipt printers.
Participants at Royal/T could submit writings to these printers in person publicly or from anywhere in the world by submitting text to thepublicanonymous.com anonymously. All submissions to [ME&I] were released after the exhibition as a print publication and made available online for purchase and in select stores and cafes internationally.
In addition to the exhibition, The Public Anonymous hosted an art party for [ME&I] on Thursday, April 21st 2011, from 9 PM to Midnight. At this event, the public was given control over the tone, content, and energy of the night. A large dance space complete with a beer and wine bar provided a platform to release thoughts as they filled the room, escaping onto the wireless keyboard floating around the room through our fingertips. Reprogramed keyboards provided an outlet to all who attended, sending their thoughts onto video projections and ultimately influencing the live music and performance art throughout the night.
I have always been fascinated in the things we do every day but never talk about, show other people or even see ourselves. These are the parts of humanity that fall through the cracks of our conscious observation. Something so familiar, yet so unseen.
